These aren't — each page starts from the two things classical Chinese astrology actually computes: your sign's aspect with the year's branch (clash 冲, trine 三合, six harmony 六合, harm 害, break 破, or none) and the five-element flowbetween your sign's element and the year's double fire. Your zodiac sign vs. your BaZi year pillar
Two calendars are in play, and they don't quite agree. The zodiac year people celebrate starts at Lunar New Year — February 17 in 2026. But BaZi, the Four Pillars system, switches years at Li Chun(立春, "start of spring"), the solar term that falls around February 4. Between those two dates every year there's a stretch of days where your party zodiac and your chart's year pillar can disagree — and if you were born in late January or the first half of February, your "real" sign may not be the one on the placemat.
