If you provide your mobile number and opt in, LuckPillar may send you SMS text messages relating to your inquiries, readings, account, service updates, and notices such as subscription or renewal reminders. These are informational and transactional messages; we do not send unrelated bulk marketing.
When you use the AI reading and chat features on this website, the birth/chart data and questions you provide are sent to a third-party AI model provider for processing in order to generate your reading and responses. To improve service quality and let you revisit past readings, we may also retain these records in our own systems.
LuckPillar offers a free "birth chart preview" through a custom GPT inside ChatGPT. If you use it, the birth details you type into ChatGPT (date, and optionally time and place) are sent to LuckPillar solely to calculate and return a BaZi chart preview, which is then shown back to you inside ChatGPT.
This preview does not create a LuckPillar account or save a profile. We do not store the birth details submitted through the GPT preview; they are used only to compute the chart for that request. We retain only limited technical and security logs (such as request time and anonymized abuse-prevention data) to keep the service running. If you later choose to use the LuckPillar website, the information practices described elsewhere in this policy apply.
Your use of ChatGPT itself is also subject to OpenAI's privacy practices.
LuckPillar, operated by HUIWANLI LLC, uses the YouTube Data API v3 (a YouTube API Service) for one purpose only: to connect to and manage our own LuckPillar YouTube channel. We do not use the YouTube API to access, collect, or process any data belonging to visitors or customers of this website.
The connection is authorized through Google OAuth 2.0. We request only these scopes:
LuckPillaryoutube.readonly — reads the connected channel's name, channel ID, and public statistics. We use this only to confirm which channel is connected and to check that the authorization is still healthy.youtube.upload — uploads videos that LuckPillar itself produces to LuckPillar's own channel. Uploads are created with private visibility.YouTube API Data is not persisted. The connected channel's ID, name, handle, thumbnail URL, and public statistics (subscriber, video, and view counts) are requested live from the YouTube Data API each time an administrator opens our internal admin tool. That data is held only for the duration of the request, displayed on the page, and then discarded. It is never written to our database, never written to disk, and never cached on our servers, so there is no stored copy to age, refresh, or delete.
Videos we upload are produced by LuckPillar; their titles and descriptions are written by us and sent to YouTube. The API's response (such as the new video's ID and upload status) is shown once in the admin tool and is not stored.
OAuth credentials are kept only while the integration is connected. We store one OAuth refresh token and one short-lived access token in a single file on our own server, readable only by the server process. The access token expires approximately one hour after it is issued and is automatically replaced when the integration is next used. The refresh token is retained until the connection ends, and the file is deleted:
An administrator can revoke the connection at any time by clicking Disconnect in the LuckPillar admin tool. This calls Google's token revocation endpoint and then deletes the stored OAuth tokens from our server, whether or not the revocation call succeeds. Access can also be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once revoked, LuckPillar can no longer read the channel or upload to it.
By using features built on YouTube API Services you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
LuckPillar's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
